Terms of service

TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: 1 September 2026

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Kingsign Acrylic website and to orders, quotations and services supplied by Kingsign Acrylic.

By using our website, requesting a quotation or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Products and Information

We supply acrylic sheets, tubes, rods, display products, furniture, accessories, custom-manufactured products and specialised acrylic project components.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, dimensions, colours, images and availability are accurate. Colours and finishes may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting, manufacturing batches and material tolerances.

Images may be illustrative and are not necessarily shown to scale.

2. Prices and GST

Prices displayed on the Kingsign Acrylic online store for Australian customers include GST unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery, cutting, processing, packing, installation and other additional charges are not included unless expressly stated.

Manually prepared quotations will specify the applicable product price, GST, processing charges, freight and other costs.

Prices and availability may change before an order or quotation is accepted. Confirmed and paid orders will not be changed except by agreement or where an obvious pricing or system error has occurred.

3. Quotations

Unless otherwise stated, a quotation is valid for the period shown on the quotation and is based on the information provided by the customer.

A quotation may be revised if the dimensions, quantities, drawings, tolerances, material requirements, delivery location, freight conditions or other project requirements change.

A quotation does not constitute final engineering approval or confirmation of suitability for a safety-critical application.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. We may confirm stock availability, specifications, delivery arrangements and payment before accepting an order.

We may decline or cancel an order where:

* The product is unavailable
* The supplied information is incomplete or incorrect
* Payment cannot be authorised
* Freight or manufacturing is not reasonably available
* An obvious pricing, description or system error has occurred
* The order presents legal, safety or technical concerns

If we cancel an order after receiving payment and no goods or services have been supplied, the applicable payment will be refunded.

5. Payment

Orders must be paid through the payment methods available on our online store or according to an official Kingsign Acrylic quotation or invoice.

Production, cutting, preparation or dispatch begins only after payment has been confirmed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Ownership of goods remains with Kingsign Acrylic until full payment has been received, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Custom, Cut-to-Size and Made-to-Order Products

Customers are responsible for checking all dimensions, quantities, colours, drawings, tolerances, fixing details and specifications before approving production.

Once cutting, preparation or production has started, custom, personalised, cut-to-size and made-to-order products generally cannot be changed, cancelled or returned because of a change of mind.

Manufacturing tolerances may apply. Any required tolerance must be confirmed in writing before production.

7. Technical and Engineering Applications

General product guidance does not constitute structural design, engineering certification or final approval.

Pool, aquarium, pressure, hyperbaric, load-bearing, structural and other safety-critical applications require appropriate technical assessment.

The customer is responsible for obtaining qualified engineering, installation and regulatory advice where required. Final material selection, thickness, support conditions, fixing details and installation must be confirmed for the intended application.

8. Customer-Supplied Drawings and Materials

Where customers submit drawings, CAD files, photographs, trademarks or other materials, they confirm that they have the right to use and provide those materials for quotation and manufacturing purposes.

We may use those materials only as reasonably necessary to assess, manufacture and supply the requested products.

9. Availability and Lead Times

Lead times are estimates and may vary due to stock availability, manufacturing, customs clearance, freight schedules, weather, carrier delays and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Products held in Australia may generally be delivered more quickly than products manufactured or shipped from China. Custom and project orders may require additional time.

10. Delivery and Pickup

Delivery charges and available methods depend on product dimensions, weight, quantity, packing requirements and destination.

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and ensure suitable access for delivery. Additional costs caused by incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, restricted access or special unloading requirements may be charged where permitted by law.

Pickup is available for eligible in-stock products by prior arrangement. Pickup locations vary by product. Customers must not attend a pickup location until the order, location and collection time have been confirmed.

11. Inspection and Transit Damage

Customers should inspect delivered goods as soon as reasonably possible.

If packaging or goods appear damaged, please photograph the packaging and product, retain all packaging materials and contact us promptly. This assists us in making a claim with the carrier.

Any request to notify us promptly does not limit rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

12. Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees

Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

13. International Orders

International customers are responsible for providing accurate import and delivery information.

Unless included in the confirmed quotation, customs duties, import taxes, destination charges, inspections, permits and local handling costs are the customer’s responsibility.

International freight arrangements and delivery terms will be confirmed before the order is accepted.

14. Installation

On-site installation is not included unless expressly stated in the quotation or contract.

Where online guidance or an installer recommendation is provided, the installation scope and responsibilities must still be agreed separately.

15. Website Use and Intellectual Property

Website text, branding, photographs, graphics and other content owned by Kingsign Acrylic may not be reproduced or used commercially without prior written permission.

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorised access.

16. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kingsign Acrylic is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from misuse, unsuitable installation, unauthorised modification or use contrary to supplied instructions.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable rights under Australian Consumer Law.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the courts and tribunals having jurisdiction in Victoria, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply elsewhere.
